Indian Navy Agniveer MR Recruitment 2026: The Indian Navy has opened its doors for 10th pass candidates across the country through the Agniveer (MR) Recruitment 2026 notification. Two batches — 01/2027 and 02/2027 — are open for applications simultaneously. Both unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed their Matriculation Examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a board recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Students who are currently appearing in Class 10 Board Exams for the academic year 2025–26 can also apply, provided they meet all other eligibility conditions and submit their original marksheet at later stages of the selection process.

Marital Status

Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible to apply for Agniveer (MR) posts. This rule applies strictly at the time of enrolment. Candidates who are married or get married during the four-year tenure will be discharged from service.

Age Limit

The age criteria differ for each batch:

• Agniveer 01/2027 Batch: Candidates born between 01 December 2004 and 31 May 2009 are eligible.
• Agniveer 02/2027 Batch: Candidates born between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009 are eligible.

Candidates born between 01 December 2004 and 31 October 2009 can register for INET 2026, but their final batch eligibility will be confirmed based on age criteria at Stage II.

Method of Selection for Indian Navy

The selection process takes place in two clearly defined stages:

Stage I — INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test) 

Stage II — Physical Fitness Test + Written Test + Medical 

The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s combined performance in both Stage I and Stage II.

Examination Fee for Indian Navy

All candidates, regardless of category, must pay an application fee of ₹550 plus 18% GST. Payment can be made online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
