JEE Main Session 1 Answer Key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the JEE Mains 2026 Answer Key for Session 1 on jeemain. nta. nic. in. The JEE Main 2026 response sheet is also available for the candidates along with the provisional answer key. This will enable candidates to estimate their marks before the JEE Main result for Session 1 is announced.
Candidates can raise the objection against provisional answer key till (11:50 PM) February 6, 2026. To raise objections against the answer key, candidates have to log in on official website, choose the questions they want to challenge and pay INR 200 per objection. Post challenge facility, NTA will release final answer key of JEE Mains 2026.

Objection Against the JEE Main 2026 Tentative Answer Key
If you come across any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, then you can challenge the same. The challenge window for the answer key is available from on February 4th and 5th, 2026.
Here’s How to Dispute the Answer Key
- Visit the official JEE Mains website and log in.
- Select the Questions to Challenge: Select that question which you think contains mistakes in the tentative answer key.
- Payment of Challenge Fee: Remit INR 200 for each question to be challenged.
- Submit The Challenge – After your payment has been approved, submit your challenge for review.

After the Challenge of Answer Key: What Will Happen?
NTA will check all the objections after the challenge window is closed and make changes to the JEE Main final answer key 2026 if required. The Final Answer Key will be uploaded after disposal of the litigations, if any. This is the official, and last, version of the answer sheet.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result
JEE Main 2026 result for Session 1 is likely to be out on February 12, 2026. The result will include:

- Total Percentile Marks
Note: The All India Rank (AIR) of the students will not be announced in results of Session 1, however, candidates will get their percentile score for each subject and also for the total exam.
